The Pony Express Series by Sun Welding is a signature line of high-security gun safes, engineered to offer unbeatable protection for your firearms and valuables. Built with a robust 1/4” steel plate door and a durable 10-gauge steel body, this safe is designed for ultimate strength and reliability.
Choose between a Group II combination lock or an Electronic lock, both of which are protected by a 1/4” hard plate and a 1/2” absorption plate. These features provide superior protection against impact, drilling, and punch attacks. Additionally, the three-way bolt works are shielded by two spring-loaded re-locking systems that lock all bolts together for added security. The three-way bolt system includes five active bolts on the hinge and opening sides, as well as a top bolt.
The Pony Express Series also comes equipped with fire insulation rated for 1200°F for 30 minutes (upgrade options for up to 2 hours of fire protection). The UL-rated fire insulation covers all six interior surfaces, while the door is sealed with a heat-expanding seal that swells up to eight times its size to prevent heat from entering.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the fully adjustable interior allows you to customize the layout to maximize gun storage capacity and provide ample shelving space. The exterior is finished with hand-applied artwork and is available in a variety of colors to suit your preference.
