It features either a Group II combination lock or a UL-approved electronic lock. The lock is reinforced with a 1/2" hard plate and absorption plate, protecting it against impact, drilling, and punching attacks. Additionally, the independent two-way bolt work is safeguarded by two spring-loaded re-locking systems, locking the entire bolt system for added security. The door is equipped with five active bolts on the opening side and five deadbolts on the hinge side for superior protection.
The Renegade Series also offers impressive fire protection, with UL-rated fire insulation capable of withstanding 1200°F for 30 minutes (with an option to upgrade to a 1-hour fire rating). This fire insulation covers all six interior surfaces of the safe, and the heat-expanding seal around the door swells up to eight times its size to provide additional protection in the event of a fire.
